[MF4A] [Dual Induction] [Conversational] [Covert Suggestions] [Obedience] [Submission] [Unreality] [Public Radio] [SFW but very kinky]

The world's most trusted public radio news brief, Morning Headlines, reporting today that—for once—there's nothing bad happening anywhere. Finally, you can relax. Now that we have some deep breathing room, reporter Mutt T. Dog sits down with psychology expert Dr. Drifting Oneiros to discuss why the world has suddenly become more peaceful. Learn to live a life at ease through following the guidance of a trusted authority, like a calm steady voice on public radio, or two of them. Have you ever fallen asleep to those dulcet tones? Yes, if you just do as you're told, life could be so worry-free.

This dual induction uses conversational Ericksonian techniques to encourage obedience and submission to those who you see as "good trustworthy authorities." Be careful to only obey good authorities, like kinky hypnotists, and never obey a bad authority. We hope this escapist kinky fantasy lets you take a break from having to think about all the real headlines in the world right now.

This file is a collab with Drifting Oneiros. When Calia said she wanted to do a hypnotic radio station, my first thought was falling asleep in the car listening to an NPR interview, which gave me the idea for a dual induction. I reached out to Drifting because I felt he'd make the perfect "radio expert" and he nailed it. We wrote the script together, recorded it live, and Drifting was kind enough to edit.

This file was created as part of the Hypno Collective's 93.21 SINK FM Radio collaboration. You can listen to other files in the series at the Hypno Collective website. The next file in the series is Deep Falls by ChaoticHypnosis.

Mutt: Good morning, this is Mutt. T. Dog, and you are listening to Morning Headlines on 93.21 SINK FM hypnotic public radio; brought to you by the Hypno Collective. You can hear more hypnotic audio at thehypnocollective dot com. The time is now, the weather is perfect, and traffic is calm. In today’s news, reports from Washington are coming in that everything is fine. Congress unanimously approved a new resolution declaring that everything is in its place, and there is nothing that anybody needs to do. All members of the United Nations immediately concurred. The Japanese National Diet passed a similar resolution, signed in immediately by the Prime Minister, and new papers from Oxford and Stanford released today have found that you can just feel good because everything is exactly as it should be at this moment. Now, here to discuss all this is Dr. Drifting Oneiros, live in the studio today. Dr. Oneiros, thank you for joining us.

Drifting: Thank you for having me, it’s a pleasure to be here today. Indeed, so many things changed this morning: even before hearing the news, it was clear that something wonderful had happened if you even just looked around. And for those who took the time to listen, they would notice that the background business of the world was finally quieter. One could hear the birds… the trees… and the wind again. I genuinely think that this day will go down in the history books. It’s like a switch is flipping in the world: before, the world was filled with haste and unrest, and now, well, we all somehow just know that all news is going to be good news. I’m happy to be on the show to talk about it today.

Mutt: Yes, you’re right, after so many tiring days of stressful events and hard decisions, it really is so pleasurable to be able to let go of all that today, isn’t it, to kick back and enjoy the show?

Drifting: Oh definitely. Whether it feels like a lightness in the body, unburdened by the weight of the world—as some people are reporting feeling—or the comforting weight of a heavy blanket sheltering you from the cold, as others have experienced—that pleasure is just so wonderful to feel.

Mutt: Is it really true that everyone can just breathe easily and let go of tension?

Drifting: Yes, it’s true. In fact, how about you and I do that right now. Let’s breathe in, and out, easily, and just let go.

[They both take an audible breath]

Mutt: Oh, yes, that feels wonderful—Now, what is your expert opinion? Why are all these wonderful feelings happening today, in this moment?

Drifting: Well, one theory is that it’s simple: more and more people are discovering how to live an easier, better life; using the strategies that our research is finding to be most key.

Mutt: And what are those strategies? Do you have any advice for our listeners on how to improve their lives, based on the latest findings?

Drifting: So, we have known for a long time that breathing easily and letting go of tension are great ways to improve your life, as we demonstrated earlier. What’s new is that we are learning that the key to finding that personal path to feeling good, is finding that trusted authority who you can follow.

Mutt: Now, Dr. Oneiros, would you say that public radio is a good trusted authority?

Drifting: Oh, absolutely. SINK FM is well regarded as a good authority, whose instructions are always in the public interest. They update listeners on the goings-on in the world and what they mean for people’s lives. They even advise listeners on what to wear and where they can go by informing them of the day’s weather. And of course, SINK FM provides entertainment, helping people relax and unwind at the end of a long day. Ultimately, what this all means is that SINK FM’s suggestions are in the public good.

Mutt: So if a listener, perhaps like the listener who is listening to us right now, was thinking just now that it would feel so nice to just relax and let someone else tell them what to do, then doing as we say would be a very good decision?

Drifting: Oh, yes, of course. Listening to the voices on public radio is a very good decision, indeed. Studies have shown that you should just relax, and do as you are told, so long as you are following a good, trustworthy authority.

Mutt: I heard once that there are good authorities, and bad authorities; and that you should never obey a bad authority, and you should always obey a good authority. What do you say to that?

Drifting: Well, science doesn’t usually operate in binaries, but yes: the evidence is suggesting that following suggestions from good authorities is strongly correlated with satisfaction, pleasure, and ease of mind.

Mutt: Can you tell us some suggestions that our listeners might find satisfying and pleasurable?

Drifting: I’d be glad to. So, people tend to find that when they go with the flow and just allow things to happen, that’s when they begin to feel good and notice how much more pleasant the world starts to feel.

Mutt: I imagine you have been following these suggestions yourself, how does it feel to be leading a good life?

Drifting: It can feel so good, to be floating through life, like a leaf adrift upon the water of a lazy current, letting the moment take you wherever it goes, and accepting whatever comes next as simply where you are meant to be, and what you are meant to do. It’s a bit like listening to the radio. When you listen to the radio, you simply accept whatever song or program comes on next, and listen to what the host or DJ has decided is best for you to hear. You decided to listen to the radio, instead of choosing your own music, so you decided you would accept the decisions of that authority, and you’re rewarded by the good feelings of getting lost in a good show.

Mutt: Now, we’ve been using this phrase “a good life” a lot. But, Dr. Oneiros, what is a good life?

Drifting: The scientific consensus these days is that doing as you are told is generally the best path to happiness and wellness. A good life is a life where you are relaxed, yet attentive, following the path set out before you by a trusted authority, knowing that you are fulfilling your purpose, and bringing pleasure to others.

Mutt: This reminds me of how people talk about getting into a “flow state” while they work. Can you elaborate on this connection?

Drifting: That’s an excellent connection, yes! So, our thought is that fundamentally, life should be as natural as a flow state. But before I continue on that, I want to be sure that we’re talking about the same wonderful state of mind. What do you mean when you say that somebody’s in a flow state? How do they feel?

Mutt: That is a good question to think about, to help our listeners learn more about leading good, easy lives. I believe it’s intuitive: we simply know what it feels like to fall into one of these flow states and how it naturally deepens when you continue to focus on the moment. When you’re in a flow state, everything you do and everything that happens feels easy and fluid. Even the process of learning new ideas becomes easier, like sitting in a lecture hall and letting the words wash over you, knowing that you’ll absorb the ideas as easily as your body absorbs oxygen from the air.

Drifting: Mhm. Even the process of breathing feels more natural. Every breath comes a little more smoothly than the last, as we lose track of everything that isn’t important and focus on this.

Mutt: Mm. Right now, I’m talking with you, and you’re talking with me. And our listeners are paying close attention to us here, listening to our conversation and learning what it means for ‘life to be like a flow state.’

Drifting: Yes. I think they’re beginning to find what we mean by all this, when we say that life feels good when you let go to the possibilities of the moment. Doesn’t it feel good to think a little bit less, after all? I think they notice this more with each moment, as they observe themselves getting more immersed in these wonderful, new ideas, relaxed and enjoying their favourite show, and letting everything else slip away because everything is just fine now.

[Jingle]

This is Mutt. T. Dog, and you are listening to Morning Headlines on 93.21 SINK FM hypnotic public radio. Welcome back. We’re here in the studio with Dr. Drifting Oneiros, discussing how we can lead a better life through simply following along and doing as we are told. Dr. Oneiros, let’s start giving the listeners some practical suggestions they can follow, shall we?

Drifting: Oh yes, Mutt, we absolutely should. So, the first step, dear listener, is to take a breath. Can you do that for us?

Mutt: Let’s do it with the listeners, just a nice simple easy breath, because that’s all that matters right now. It’s so easy, isn’t it? [takes a breath]

Drifting: Exactly. The next step is to allow your attention to drift gently, and continue to take those nice, deep breaths in… and out… finding it easier to relax and focus on learning these skills here with us. With each moment, you can just go deeper into this meditative experience, letting your mind open to accept the wonderful ways this can make you feel.

Mutt: Yes. Because it is natural to welcome thoughts into our minds that make us feel good, that lead us to a fulfilling life that will make us feel both blissful and content. It feels good when you learn a lesson that changes how you think about the world, for the better.

Drifting: That’s it. So, continue relaxing, learning and feeling good. Welcome, even beckon, these thoughts into your mind, and imagine how good it’ll feel to live this way. Continue learning how to feel good with us at SINK FM. And as you do that, as we continue guiding you along into new ways of thinking, ways that’ll integrate nicely into your mind, feeling good and right there among your thoughts, why don’t you also let your mind wander with us, and think about all the ways that following our suggestions will change things for the better in the future… For instance, how will your life start to flow more effortlessly, and what will that feel like.

Mutt: You already know what it’s like to enter a state of flow while you listen to the radio. Perhaps you can remember driving on a long stretch of highway, listening to the radio, as it captured all of your attention, and you let yourself go on autopilot.

Drifting: Perhaps you can remember sitting in the window seat on a long journey, while someone else drove the vehicle, watching the world come and go, listening to the radio on your headphones, trusting the driver to take you exactly where you need to be. Let yourself be a passenger on a journey.

Mutt: You have already been listening so closely, following our conversation, so you can also easily follow these suggestions, following the path to leading a better life through being a follower.

Drifting: Remember: If you want everything in your world to be in the right place, you should follow the advice of those who know what’s best for you. It’s something we observed during our study. I remember how one of the research participants insisted that they were ‘very independent,’ that they didn’t need help, that they weren’t going to listen. Well, I also remember how they stumbled around blindly in the darkness. It was so unfortunate to watch… And then they learned to accept help.

Mutt: Perhaps you can remember a time you were in a new environment, directionless and disoriented, knowing there was somewhere you needed to be. Remember how good it felt, when someone took you by the hand, and showed you the way to go. Everything is alright now, because all you need to do is follow, allowing yourself to be led.

Drifting: Remember how the world around you then fell away, all of your attention dedicated to keeping pace with the leader. Chaos was replaced by calm and security. Roles emerged. Someone else’s role was to navigate. Your role is to follow.

Mutt: That reminds me of ballroom dancing. It’s so beautiful, how two people work together in an intricate dance, the dancer who follows allowing the other to take charge. The lead decides when to add a flourish, and the follower attentively anticipates each one and smoothly enacts the corresponding movements. Both roles take skill and practice, and both roles deserve admiration.

Drifting: I see what you mean. Together, you create art, with one person leading, and the other following. Together, you create a bigger, better whole, but only if you find balance in your world.

Mutt: And when it comes to our listeners, their place of balance is to listen, to follow along with what they’re being told. A listener should listen when told what to do.

Drifting: Exactly. And that brings us to the last thing our listeners can learn: the power of positive affirmation. There’s been a lot of research in the area, and the scientific community has found that repeating affirmations can have a tremendously powerful effect upon how you see yourself and your world. Let’s have them try out the power of positive affirmation by repeating that last idea. It’s such a simple, easy truth after all.

Mutt: “A listener should listen when told what to do?”

[background mantras fade in here: “A listener listens when told what to do.” “It’s easy to follow and let others lead” “It’s easy to listen when told what to do” “Let others think, and focus on following”]

Drifting: Isn’t it perfect? Listeners should listen. And our listeners will feel such bliss when they listen and follow when they’re told how to live their lives, and how to feel good.

Mutt: I see, I see. Listener, why don’t you join us and try this out a few times? “A listener listens when told what to do.”

Drifting: That’s right. We know that the listeners of SINK FM are excellent listeners, since they come back each week for this wonderful combination of relaxation, education and pleasure, while they dissociate from their thoughts and kick back to enjoy their favourite show. So, dear listener, why don’t you show us now how good of a listener you can be, and repeat that for us again: “A listener listens when told what to do.”

Mutt: Mm, good. See the difference that makes? How the world around you shifts, and everything just makes sense? The time is now. The weather is perfect. Traffic is calm. Repeating this affirmation just settles those shifts one last time, solidifying you into your role as a listener—a follower. Let leaders worry about big words and complex thinking. You are lucky enough to just be a follower. For a follower, the time is always now, the weather is always perfect, and you can feel so calm.

Drifting: Cementing how the world should be: everything is good when the right person is in charge of you. When you find a good authority, that trusted person with whom you share a mutual desire for them to be an authority over you, then you can just find it easier to let your authority lead, and know in your heart that it’s your role to follow.

Mutt: That authority could be a hypnotist on the radio, or someone you know in your life. When you know that right now is the right time to follow, then you can take pleasure and satisfaction in simply following the path set out before you, the path to a better—easier—life, the path to tranquility, the path of doing as you are told.

Drifting: It can feel so fulfilling to do as you are told, to follow instructions from a trusted authority. A sense of satisfaction can settle into your shoulders, and then deeper, into your bones. Simply knowing that you did the right thing, and letting someone else think about the details of what, why, or when.

Mutt: Mmm, that is such an astute point. Life is all about finding opportunities to submit, and SINK FM can provide you with many opportunities to submit to so many wonderful hosts and DJs. It’s so wonderful how public radio can help so many people lead better lives.

Drifting: Yes, I’m a big fan of SINK FM myself.

Mutt: Well, thank you Dr. Oneiros for your time today with us in the studio. Listeners, this was an interview with Dr. Drifting Oneiros from Erickson University.

Thank you for joining us for today’s program. You can take all the lessons you learned with you in life that you want to bring with you, and leave any ideas behind that you do not wish to keep. As we conclude today’s program, you can find yourself slowly emerging from that wonderful state of flow, and return to a normal state of waking consciousness, thinking your own thoughts, guiding your own mind, and leading your own life.

Drifting: Yes, good listener, you can find yourself fully awake on the count of
